As founder and CEO of Global Personals, Ross Williams is at the heart of the business. Having founded his first agency while at university in 1997, he decided to take the next step forward and, with nothing more than a credit card, set up Global Personals with Steve Pammenter in 2003.
His decision soon paid off. In less than a decade, Global Personals has become one of the world’s leading dating and social discovery companies. Ross has been shortlisted for Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006, selected for Top 10 To Watch in 2007 and has been nominated in two categories in the Fast Growth Business Awards in 2008. In 2011, Ross was crowned “Young Gun” in the Growing Business awards.
Outside of work, Ross is a fully qualified pilot, car enthusiast, dog lover, and mentor to young entrepreneurs across Britain and the globe, speaking regularly and giving advice based on his first-hand experience of the digital world. Follow Ross on LinkedIn.
