I’m in the Moderation Team, where we filter through all of the members on the site and pull out the scammers and anything that does not abide by our Terms and Conditions.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WITH THE COMPANY?
I have been with the company for about 7 months now.
WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE GROWING UP?
I think I must have changed my mind every week but one that I do remember is a fashion designer. I used to make all sorts of strange dresses out of old curtains.
HOW WOULD YOUR WORK MATES DESCRIBE YOU IN 3 WORDS?
Amiable, Helpful, Crazy.
IF YOU COULD HAVE A SUPER POWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Definitely teleportation, I could just pop to some exotic place for a couple of hours and save so much time and money.
BIGGEST INSPIRATION? (EXCLUDING FAMILY)
Not sure this is my BIGGEST inspiration but a celebrity that has inspired me lately is Gordon Ramsey with his documentary on shark finning. This is something I have always felt very strongly against and using his celebrity status in a positive way to make people more aware of what is happening and petitioning against it, was inspirational.
MARMITE. LOVE OR HATE?
Well I used to trade my peanut butter sandwiches for Marmite ones at school so I guess I’m a lover of Marmite.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE 3 WEBSITES AND WHY?
Fail blog – I think the whole Mods team checks it every day and it always gives us a good laugh.
YouTube – mainly for music videos and movie trailers and anything funny that Matt sends me.
Wikipedia – I’m not even sure if I can think of another site to get general information
A SECRET OR FACT THAT NOBODY AT WORK KNOWS?
A friend and I came first in a barn dance competition once (this was NOT a recent event).
WHAT COULD YOU NOT LIVE WITHOUT AT WORK (EXCLUDING YOUR COMPUTER)?
Plasticine – Harry’s Christmas present from Cerys but I can’t play with it every day.
