Tim Leaps to Victory!

This week, we are wishing the very best of luck to our Senior Architect, Tim Blair, who will be representing Great Britain in the World Championship Ultimate Frisbee Tournament in Osaka, Japan.

The Championship, which starts on Saturday and will run for a week, brings together 65 teams from around 23 countries including Australia, India and the USA. The tournament will also be raising money for victims of the Japan Earthquake and Tsumani.

Within the Ultimate Frisbee tournament, games can last up to two hours and across the duration of the tournament players can expect to play one to two intense games every day. Whilst Ultimate Frisbee sounds like a whole lot of fun, it’s also a highly challenging sport with a strong focus on sprinting and endurance.

Tim, who will form part of the 23-man strong Masters squad, started playing Ultimate Frisbee during his time at Aberystwyth University and has since been ‘flying’ up the ranks to make team GB. Having spent a large proportion of his spare time training rigorously for the championship, Globalite Tim is a Frisbee force to be reckoned with.

So come on Tim, bring us home a trophy!
