I strongly believe that scammers target certain age groups online, men and women who they know will be more vulnerable. They build up relationships very quickly with these members, and sometimes their loneliness can get the better of them and they get caught up in it all. That is why moderating every member’s first messages works so well. It creates a massive barrier which scammers rarely overcome.
